From a shared idea to a real partnership: Woolwind and the Bamberg Symphony have been closely linked from the start, as the ideas and suggestions of the orchestra board and musicians flowed directly into the development of the Woolwind Tailcoat concept.

Artistic Director Marcus Axt has also been a supporter of the project from the very beginning and is creating the basis for all male orchestra members to receive a Woolwind Tailcoat as work clothing from December 2019.

In return, the Bamberg Symphony not only act as testers, but also as testimonials for Woolwind and present our products.

All parties benefit from this strong partnership: For the first time, the musicians are playing in tailcoats that have been designed for working on stage and in the orchestra pit, the Bamberg Symphony are once again positioning themselves as an innovation driver among the world-class orchestras and, at the same time, creating the platform for Woolwind to present the concept.
