The Woolwind Tailcoat 2.0 - new silhouette, 15 percent lighter

From the beginning, it was particularly important to us in the development of our orchestra tailcoats that feedback from our customers, the musicians, be incorporated into the development. After all, they are the ones who deliver top musical performances in our tailcoats. For our first collection, there were three clear requirements:

1. The material should be temperature-regulating and quickly transport moisture to the outside.

2. A high elasticity of the fabric should make playing in the tailcoat easier and increase the wearing comfort in the orchestra pit or on stage.

3. The tailcoat should be easy to wash at home in your own washing machine to save time and money on cleaning.

The overwhelming feedback from our customers shows us how well we have met these requirements. This naturally makes us very proud. However, we don't want to rest on our laurels. After all, our team has worked with top athletes in the pursuit of new records for many years in other contexts.

We have continued to work on our tailcoat concept in recent months and tested it with some musicians from the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. The result will be available in our shop from next week:

The Woolwind Tailcoat Jacket 2.0 is, at just 600g, a good 15 percent lighter than our previous model. This means that the jacket weighs less than most violas! We have also updated the cut of the jacket. Thanks to the elastic fabric, we were able to make the silhouette even slimmer, as requested by some customers. Flatter shoulder pads and a slightly shorter back length support the elegant appearance even when sitting and reduce the overall weight.

Our testers were completely enthusiastic and we hope to convince you with this further development.
