Welcome to Woolwind!
We are a team of enthusiasts with a simple idea: A Tailcoat specifically for musicians, tailored to the wearer's needs and with the aim of enabling peak performance. Based on our many years of experience in the sports industry and developed and tested with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, we have designed a patented* Tailcoat concept specifically for orchestral musicians - temperature-regulating, elastic, lightweight and washable.
The Woolwind Tailcoat concept consists of six elements: Tailcoat jacket, Trousers, Vest or Cummerbund, Bow Tie, Short-sleeved Shirt and replaceable cuff.

From now on there is also a black suit. Jacket and Trousers can be ordered separately. Of course with the well-known advantages: temperature-regulating, elastic, light and washable in the wool cycle.

Style meets innovation
Woolwind enables performance at the highest level in functional, innovative and stylistically groundbreaking evening wear. Our tailcoats and shirts are washable, temperature regulating and elastic. In addition, our tailcoat can be worn with a short sleeve shirt, an exchangeable cuff in the jacket sleeve makes it possible. The advantages: More freedom of movement, better temperature regulation through the use of 37.5 technology, optimal and trouble-free fit of the cuff during the performance.
